Mindset is a neurotransmitter precursor that claims to help with concentration, stress management, memory, and hyperactivity. It’s created by VIIV, a company also known as Sevenpointfive (or 7Point5). They’ve been offering their products and services for close to two decades now. The only problem is that their testimonials are vaguely attributed, but they do mention location and doctor name. Instead of being a faceless company that distributes pills online, they encourage face-to-face interaction and really learning about how to improve your body’s balance.
With many branches in South Africa, VII.V has a unique three-step process. First they test your blood to discover what kind of assistance you need. Then they offer one of their 17 products to combat any problems or imbalances they find. After that they recommend dietary and lifestyle changes as needed. It’s a significant dedication to health and patient care many other companies don’t show.

Synopsis

1) Mindset at a Glance

Mindset lists its features and ingredients on the company website, although amounts and directions for use are not shown. It promises to help with depression, problems with sleeping, drug and alcohol cravings, hyperactivity, and ADD. It’s also supposed to improve memory and concentration.

One ingredient that many people will find familiar is Valerian root. It’s common in medications that fight sleep disorders, anxiety, excitability, migraines, joint pain, nausea, and more. There is scientific evidence that it helps with insomnia and other sleep-related problems, although research is more inconsistent on some other uses. More long-term studies are also needed, although Valerian root is safe for children and adults in the short term.

Strangely enough, rare side effects of Valerian root are insomnia, headaches, uneasiness, and excitability – all things the root is supposed to be effective against. You may also feel sluggish or sleepy, especially in higher doses. It’s meant to relax and calm you.

Ingredients

2) Details on Mindset Ingredients and Uses

Mindset contains the following ingredients: Chromium Polynicotinate, Coral Calcium Powder, Gamma Aminobutyric Acid, L-Glutamine, L-Tyrosine, Niacinamide, Valerian Root, L-OptiZinc

3) Does Mindset Work and it is Safe?

Mindset contains 8 ingredients in its formula although they don’t specify the amounts of each. Its main draw appears to be a calming effect. After taking the supplement, it’ll bring you to a mindset that alleviates anxiety, depression, restlessness, drug cravings, hyperactivity, and lack of concentration.
Some reviews have said Sevenpointfive doesn’t have the most potent formula with Mindset. While each ingredient is important, the inclusion of GABA (Gamma Aminobutyric Acid) has little to no effect when taken orally. Still, people report positive results. They feel calm and relaxed after taking Mindset, which does seem to be the main point of the product.
One of the interesting inclusions is ChromeMate, which isn’t a generic compound. It combines chromium and niacin into one unique form. It’s been clinically studied, and may be used to help maintain healthy blood sugar, cholesterol levels and body weight. Compared to other forms of chromium, ChromeMate noticeably increases absorption. It’s developed and registered to a company by the name of InterHealth. They offer their product to companies who develop supplements, claiming over 25 years of efficacy and safety in a clinically-studied product.

Claims

4) What Mindset Does?

  • Calming and relaxing supplement which relieves anxiety and may help you sleep better at night.
  • Effects are noticed quickly and there are no reported side effects.
  • Company offers multiple products and services to help you on the path to improvement.

Precautions

5) Precautions of Mindset Use

  • Inconsistent effects on concentration, depression, and cravings.
  • Almost impossible to find outside of South Africa, and not available at all in the United Kingdom.
  • Inclusion of GABA is probably unnecessary. Evidence shows that taking GABA orally has little to no effect in most situations.

Cost

6) Mindset Cost

It’s an inexpensive supplement. Unfortunately it’s uncommon – hard to find and reviews are scarce. If you don’t live in South Africa, it might not be available. Sevenpointfive also clearly states that they don’t offer their products or services in the UK. In fact, after researching the company, we can’t find any information about worldwide shipping. It seems the only way to get Mindsight is to call or email one of the doctors in South Africa.

How To Use

7) How to Use Mindset

If you are pregnant, nursing, or have upcoming surgery, you should not take supplements containing Valerian root.

Final Thoughts

8) Final Thoughts on Mindset

Mindset might be right for you if need something to help relax throughout the day, or if you have difficulty getting a satisfying night’s sleep. It’s fairly inexpensive, but given the price and hard-to-find aspect of the product, you might want another of our recommended supplements. One that would be easier to purchase and gets into your hands fast. Mindset isn’t available through Amazon or your local pharmacy like other items.
