What is your view on brain health?
We believe the foods we eat and the supplements we take can have a big impact on the structure and health of our brains. Enhancing a balanced diet with potent ingredient-rich supplements can support both short and long-term brain function.
What are the 6 pillars of brain health?
There are many things influencing your daily brain health. However, there are 6 pillars we believe to have a major impact on your brain’s chemistry:
- Physical Exercise
- Food & Nutrition
- Medical Health
- Sleep & Relaxation
- Mental Fitness
- Social Interaction
What do you believe are supplement industry “best practices”?
We are delighted that there is an emerging new set of industry standards. These are increasing the quality of brain supplements on the market. We will always need to investigate each product as it arrives, but the new standards we are seeing are gradually raising the game for our industry.
The new industry standards and best practices include:
- Effectiveness – how the body absorbs supplements and the choice of the active ingredient;
- Quality of Ingredients – a supplement is only as good as the quality of its ingredients;
- Validation – independent third-party validation by external companies that can test the product with neutrality;
- Transparency – lets consumers know exactly what they are choosing to ingest;
- Environmental Responsibility – using recyclable material and BPA free bottles, finding creative methods of using fewer materials, choosing Sustainable Forestry Initiative providers, etc.
You can read more about the new supplement industry standards here.
