Yummies is a combination of essential vitamins and minerals designed to attend to the special mental and physical needs of children during growth and development stages.

Yummies provides many of the B-complex vitamins plus the powerful antioxidants vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin C, and some other essential vitamins. Antioxidants limit the production of free radicals and hence may help prevent a number of conditions linked to free radical damage such as mild cognitive impairment disease or stroke. Vitamin E is known for its central role in the immune system health and in DNA repair while vitamin A helps maintain healthy bones and teeth and contributes to the well functioning of the eyes. Also, high levels of vitamin B12 in the elderly have been shown to protect against brain shrinkage, one of the causes of Alzheimer’s disease.

Inositol is a vitamin-like substance found in many plants and animals. Scientists believe that it works to balance certain chemicals in the body that are involved in regulating certain anxiety disorders such as Panic Disorder or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, as well as some conditions affecting mood, such as depression. Preliminary research also indicated that Inositol may be effective in ADHD treatment (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). Side effects of Inositol are sometimes reported and include It can cause nausea, tiredness, headache and dizziness.

A meta-analysis of 43 studies showed that vitamin A supplementation of children under five who are at risk of deficiency reduces mortality by up to 24%. This vitamin is also known to promote healthy skin and vision. It also functions in a very different role as an irreversibly oxidized form of retinol known as retinoic acid, which is an important hormone-like growth factor for epithelial and other cells.

Vitamin C has numerous positive qualities such as supporting the immune system by modulating the activities of white blood cells and it is necessary for the body to form and maintain collagen, which is the primary substance of skin and connective tissue. Calcium and magnesium are essential to the proper functioning of the organism. Studies proved that most people do not get the recommended daily amount of these two minerals from their diet, so supplementation is advised.

8) The Bottom Line – “Does it Work?”

Vitamins and minerals are essential substances the body needs for normal body growth and proper development, particularly in children. A diversified balanced diet and regular exercise may ensure most of the nutritional needs of a person, however sometimes dietary supplementation is required to completely fulfill these needs. Still, food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a diversified diet but rather as a complementary means of obtaining nutrients.

Yummies comes in the form of chewable gummies, making them easy to administrate to children. Also, the formula is vegetarian and contains only natural colorings and flavors. Taking intoaccountthe vast experience and good reputation of the manufacturer, we may conclude the formula will deliver the benefits claimed, even if there are no consumer reviews to confirm this.We do advise that a decision of whether you or your child needs vitamin supplementation is made together with a healthcare provider.
