Focus DL delivers DL-phenylalanine, allowing consumers to fine-tune therapeutic regimens. DL-phenylalanine is the precursor to many essential neurotransmitters, including dopamine, norepinephrine, PEA, and epinephrine. This product is designed and manufactured by “NeuroScience,” who recommends their product to support focus, memory and metabolic maintenance.

NeuroScience, Inc. has developed a line of nutraceutical formulas that specifically target the neurotransmitter balances in the brain. Their unique combinations of neurotransmitter precursors, enzymatic cofactors and modulators provide useful options for many of today’s most common brain conditions.

They’re also the company behind the mood-enhancer Serene.

Synopsis

1) Focus DL at a Glance

DL-Phenylalanine is a neutral amino acid,; it can cross the blood-brain barrier and enter into the central nervous system quite efficiently. This happens after the amino acid is absorbed through the intestines and undergoes a conversion process within the liver. From there, it reaches the brain and performs several actions in the body. It exerts a powerful influence throughout the central nervous system, especially in regards to mood and movement. It packs a peak performance punch by rapidly releasing acetylcholine, serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine into your limbic system. The result is better concentration, improved alertness, and a better memory.

Another way in which this amino acid is thought to work is by the blocking of a particular enzymatic process. This is also believed to relate to the increased levels of norepinephrine and dopamine that are seen when using DL-Phenylalanine.

Focus DL features DL-phenylalanine, an essential amino acid that is not produced by the body and can only be obtained from the diet. DL-phenylalanine is the precursor to catecholamines like norepinephrine, epinephrine, dopamine, and PEA. DL-phenylalanine is commonly used to reduce the symptoms of fatigue and brain fog while increasing energy.

PEA, an excitatory neurotransmitter, is linked to focus, concentration and memory. Low levels of PEA may cause decreased energy, inattention, racing thoughts and memory problems. Supplementing with Focus DL provides the body with the building blocks (essential amino acids) needed to increase PEA production. Increase in PEA production may provide increased focus and energy.
