OxySleep promises to be an all-natural dietary supplement suitable for people who experience occasional sleep troubles, as direct benefits may include improved sleep, less interruptions and waking during the night, and a decrease in restless, and trouble falling asleep symptoms.

Oxy Sleep use will eventually help build up healthy sleeping patterns or restore them, in case sleep problems may have something to do with changes in diet, lifestyle or other contextual factors.

The formula features as core ingredients herbs such as Valerian Root, Ashwagandha and Nardostchya Jatamanshi, which are traditionally used to treat sleep related problems. The formula is designed to be by adults only. Because an official presentation page for the formula and for the manufacturer seem to be absent, it is impossible for us to determine the source of the ingredients and extracts, the concentrations used to create the formula, or information on production processes.

It is always a downside to see a company or a product that lacks an online presence, particularly because consumers usually go online to gather information and later address their physician for advice. It is detrimental to the products image as far as we are concerned.

Summary

1) What is OxySleep?

The formula includes the following herbal extracts Nardostchya Jatamanshi, Valeriana Wallichi, Withania Somnifera, and Piper Longum Root. The Valerian Root is perhaps the most popular among them.

Melatonin, the only non-herbal ingredient in OxySleep is a naturally occurring hormone produced by the pineal gland in the brain. Its functions are numerous and include sleep and wake cycles controlling mechanisms. Normally, Melatonin levels start to increase in the mid-to late evening as the body prepares for sleep, and start dropping in the early hours of the morning. Also, natural Melatonin levels slowly decrease as one ages; this is why some older adults seem to need less and less sleep.

Dietary sources are scarce (grains, meats, certain fruits and vegetables) and usually contain small amounts of the hormone. Melatonin supplements promise to raise levels of this hormone inside the body hence fighting sleep problems and jet lag. Side effects of using melatonin supplements include sleepiness, vivid dreams, drowsiness or lower body temperature.

Formula

2) What Are OxySleep Ingredients?

OxySleep contains the following ingredients: Nardostchya Jatamanshi, Valeriana Wallichi, Withania Somnifera, Piper Longum Root, and Melatonin.

Valeriana is also found in homeopathic supplements like BHI Calming.

3) Does OxySleep Work?

The formula features a combination of herbs and Melatonin. The first herb listed on the label is Nardostchya Jatamanshi or Indian Spikenard which is a traditional Ayurvedic remedy for sleep problems. It is usually crushed and distilled into essential oils so that its sedative properties are fully enjoyed. The plant also enjoys anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory effects, but it is most known and used due to its calming effects. It is able to reduce physical inflammations in the body, especially in the nervous system or digestive tract. On a psychological level, it may alleviate feelings of stress, depression, anger, anxiety, and panic.

The other herbal ingredients are also effective for relaxation and calming the mind and the body, and are very popular as well it is practically impossible you haven’t heard of Valerian root in your search for a natural sleep remedy.

The other important ingredient in the formula is Melatonin, which the manufacturer claims is the natural form, and not the synthetic one. We were unable to find a label for the product so that we find more information on the source of this ingredient. Still, Melatonin is very popular in treating sleep related problems. Melatonin is responsible for maintaining the circadian rhythm of the human body and usually decreases when fatigue, stress, alcohol consumption, or frequent caffeine, and tobacco use enter the scene. Oxy Sleep helps in the production of melatonin in the body in order to achieve a peaceful sleep.

The formula should not be used by people who operate heavy machinery or plan on driving. Sensitive categories of patients pregnant and nursing women, or people with a known medical condition, are advised to ask for specialized advice prior to use.

8) Bottom Line – Does It Really Work?

The causes of insomnia and sleep problems are numerous and identifying what it is that makes somebody stay awake at night is not always easy.
