1) What Are Gaia Herbs Ginkgo Leaf Ingredients?

Ginkgo Leaf includes the following ingredients: Ginkgo Leaf, Ginkgo flavonoid glycosides, vegetable glycerin, vegetable cellulose (capsule).

2) Does Gaia Herbs Ginkgo Leaf Work?

Ginkgo Leaf is a simple formula containing Ginkgo leaf as the main ingredient. The product is promoted as a quality herbal supplement that can help improve mood, memory, and overall cognitive function.

As stated above, Gingko is the most important ingredient here. In fact, Gingko is one of the most popular herbal ingredients, and it is used by many manufacturers in their products. Used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Gingko is believed to improve mental functioning. However, several recent studies do not back up this claim.

Many companies are advertising Gingko (root or leaf) as a safe ingredient. However, there are some dangers to using it. There are constituents in ginkgo leaves that may affect blood clotting, so people with bleeding disorders shouldn’t use ginkgo leaf extracts. People with epilepsy (or anyone with a history of seizures) should avoid ginkgo, because it may increase the frequency of seizures. There have also been some cases of high blood pressure in people taking ginkgo.

The daily recommended dose of this supplement is 1 or 2 capsules per day between meals. Women who are pregnant or nursing shouldn’t use Ginkgo Leaf.

There are very few testimonials on this product. What is being reported includes:

• Effective
• Affordable
• It has a pleasing taste

3) Gaia Herbs Ginkgo Leaf Cost

Ginkgo Leaf is an average-priced supplement, more affordable than many other similar products. The product is available for purchase directly from the manufacturer’s website or from various online retailers. Please note that some retailers will ship Ginkgo Leaf within the United States only.

A bottle of Ginkgo Leaf contains 60 capsules, which should be enough for two months of treatment at a recommended dosage of 1 capsule per day.

Bottom Line

4) The Bottom Line – “Does it Work?”

Ginkgo is one of the most commonly used herbal extracts, many manufacturers using this ingredient into their formulations. Due to its popularity, this formula may be appealing for those with little experience in dealing with herbal remedies and brain supplements.

While Ginkgo has a long and fascinating medical history, the recent studies have shown it to be less useful than we initially believed.

We believe there are better alternatives out there. Therefore, we advise our readers to focus on products that have been fully researched and proven to work. When you search for a high-quality supplement, it is important to focus on several essential aspects: the company’s reputation, testimonials, clinical studies and the quality of the ingredients.
