My son has been taking Lumina for 2 years after being diagnosed with ADHD and getting a script for Ritalin…he hasn’t taken 2 Ritalin tablet and he is thriving on Lumina…I’m gutted to discover that it’s been discontinued….

We are in exaclty the same position! My 10 year old son’s life was turned around at school since he’s been using Lumina. I cannot believe they would discontinue such a fantastic product. Anything to keep kids off ritalin should be endorsed!! Did you get any help with an alternative ??

While discontinued, Metagenics Lumina is still available for purchase on several online stores such as VitaSouth. As for alternatives, Lumina’s formulation is built around several core ingredients: L-Theanine, DHA, EPA, and two proprietary blends. While the proprietary blends are tricky, you could try another L-Theanine, DHA, and EPA based supplement.

My family and I have been using Lumina for approx. 12 months now and I am blown over with the improvement in mood and mental focus we all feel.

I have just been informed by our pharmacist supplier that this product has now been discontinued? Is this the case? If so, what is the replacement product? Or can you suggest another Metagenics product to assist with Dopermine support? Or more specifically, mood enhancer/stabiliser product to try which is not depression medication.

Please help!!

Sasha

I am absolutely gutted to hear that this product has been discontinued…my son is thriving on it and it is the best alternative to Ritalin that I have ever come across….please bring it back
