I started taking Huperzine A from another vendor a year ago. Based on my experience, you may consider “cycling” the dosage, taking “q.I.d.”, or stopping for a week after every 2-3 months of use. If you are a regular user and find yourself with cold to the touch, low pulse, excessive urination — take a hot shower. Then, take a 30-day break from Huperzine A. After that, you should be good to go again. Effective and safe for most people. Stay at or below 200mcg/day until you have personal experience of 3-month performance or the approval of your physician. Based on personal experience, potency per pill/capsule varies widely among Huperzine A vendors.

So I started taking huperzine about two weeks ago and at first I felt like it had the opposite effect of what it should have. So I tapered down the dosage and I finding it slightly to recall memory and I feel it’s having a good effect on my mood as well.
