Albizia Liquid Extract is an herbal supplement to soothe your nervous system. It’s manufactured by Herb Pharm, a company from Williams, Oregon. They have over 100 employees and sell more than 150 single herb extracts, plus various other products. Herb Pharm says its founders started out by creating herbal medicines for their friends in 1979. Soon they were “becoming pioneers in the modern herbal movement.” Batches are still made by hand, now with the benefit of modern technology. Their Albizia is grown in China.

Synopsis

1) Albizia Liquid Extract at a Glance

This product is mostly Albizia julibrissin extract, in water and cane alcohol. One dropper gives you about 175 mg of the ingredient per serving. Albizia julibrissin is also known as the Persian silk tree, nemunoki, or pink silk tree. These plants can be found in southwestern and eastern Asia. Albizia julibrissin is also known as the Persian silk tree, nemunoki, or pink silk tree. These plants can be found in southwestern and eastern Asia. Albizia trees are popular with butterflies and hummingbirds, and are sometimes grown in parks or gardens for ornamental purposes. They’re considered an invasive species because of Albizia’s ability to spread even in not-ideal conditions. In the United States, the tree is usually short lived because it’s very susceptible to certain diseases.

Some studies suggest that it might slow the growth of cancer cells. The bark may have anti-tumor or anti-inflammatory properties, due to glycosides called julibrosides. In traditional Asian medicine, the bark has been used to treat anxiety, depression, insomnia, and stress. The Chinese used it as a sedative and anti-inflammatory, among other things. It was also used in Japan, Korea, and India, all for different reasons.

6) Albizia Liquid Extract Price

Each bottle is one fluid ounce (30 ml). The label recommends using the included dropper to put the extract in your water or juice, 2 to 4 times a day. This would be 1.4 to 2.8 ml a day. It was also used in Japan, Korea, and India, all for different reasons. It’s not known if Albizia can cause side effects, but it isn’t recommended for people already taking certain medications. Usually those which are anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, antidepressants, or antibacterial. Potential drug interactions haven’t been studied in depth yet.

Conclusion

Albizia Liquid Extract is affordable and might work for you. It can have mixed results, depending on your luck and unique personal biochemistry. Albizia is used for a lot of reasons and there isn’t clear evidence supporting many of them. It’s often used for insomnia, so it might not de-stress your body. It’s hard to tell without trying out the product yourself. You might have to take more than Herb Pharm recommends. As a liquid supplement, it’s definitely convenient and relatively easy to find in stores. If you’re unsure about anything, ask your doctor if Albizia is right for you.
