Ashwagandha is a herb that comes from a plant. Only the root and the berry are used to make a wide variety of different supplements. It is stated to be one of the most useful forms of herbal products out there, and it has been used for hundreds of years in various cultures.
Because of the popularity of supplements and the positive way that people regard Ashwagandha many companies provide it in the form of a supplement. They offer different product names and vary in price. Consumers that are interested in this type of product should look at how long the business has been around, their reputation, and what else they offer.
Other things to evaluate include all of the ingredients that are with the Ashwagandha, the overall quality of the ingredients, and the return policies that are offered. Some people want an immediate product, so finding a product locally at a retailer is important to many individuals versus those that can only be purchased over the internet.

Ashwagandha is a herb that is believed to offer healing properties for a wide variety of ailments. They include joint pain caused by arthritis, skin conditions, chronic back pain, bronchitis, menstrual cramping, and liver disease. It is also claimed to offer benefits for the mind including reducing high levels of stress and anxiety so that a person can sleep better.

While various Ashwagandha supplements provide either this alone or it is one of the ingredients, there isn’t’ enough data to verify if it is as effective as it is given credit.

The dose of Ashwagandha to take depends on the product that is being used. Consumers are always urged to pay close attention to the information that is offered with any product that they use. Some of the known side effects of this herb are an upset stomach, vomiting, and diarrhea. In many instances, reducing the amount that is taken or making sure it is taken with food will reduce those side effects.

Women who are pregnant or nursing shouldn’t use Ashwagandha. Anyone who is trying to become pregnant should avoid it too because some reports indicate that it can cause a woman to experience a miscarriage. Individuals that have ulcers shouldn’t use this product. The same goes for anyone with an autoimmune problem as the use of Ashwagandha may allow the immune system to create more symptoms.

The cost of Ashwagandha depends on the product that someone buys. Evaluating the brand, the quality of the product, and looking at how many days worth of the product are in the bottle all will influence the overall benefits that are offered. With so many products out there that have Ashwagandha either alone or as one of the ingredients though consumers have many products for price comparisons. Such supplements are easy enough to find at local retailers and online for anyone that is interested in trying them.
