Focus Pep is a nootropic advertised as an over-the-counter dietary supplement designed to elevate physical and mental stamina.
The company, Addrenna, claims that the nootropic can support cognition, memory retention, alertness, and even physical performance during training. From this, we can say that Focus Pep is trying to be good at both mental and physical energy.
Can Focus Pep deliver on its promises? Read our Focus Pep review to find out.
1) Focus Pep at a Glance
- Focus-Pep’s serving size is 1 capsule, making one bottle enough for 60 days
- It has a warning on the label to discourage stimulant use on conjunction with their product
- It’s not sold on the main website, but it is available at Walmart and Amazon plus other online supplement stores
2) The Company Behind Focus Pep
Focus Pep is sold by Addrena LLC, which also manufactures a rather small number of other dietary supplements that claim to help with mental performance, weight loss, and acne.
Upon checking the official website, it looks like the only product they’re carrying is an adderrall replacer simply called Addrena.
While Focus Pep is still featured on the website, it just goes directly to an Amazon page.

3) Focus Pep Ingredients
The formula seems to be divided into three main groups:
Basic nutrients:
- Vitamin B3 (niacin)
- Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin)
- Choline (as choline bitartrate)
This blend is your typical brain health blend, especially since B complex is involved in various energy metabolism processes. Choline is really dosed small, however, as the bitartrate form is the least absorbed and calls for doses upwards of 500 mg for it to work.
Mental alertness and focus:
- Caffeine anhydrous
- Huperzine-A
- Guarana
- Bitter Orange
- Chocolate bean extract
This is mainly the brain-body energy blend. Caffeine also adds a bit of focus, just like when you drink coffee before you work on a report. Chocolate bean is simply a health ingredient, thanks to its theobromine content.
Bitter orange is known for its synephrine content, a stimulant that stirred controversy in the past due to its potency and adverse side effects. We don’t have synephrine standardized, however, so we’re not sure how much synephrine we’re actually getting.
Caffeine and synephrine are powerful stimulants, but some people don’t like stimulants in their nootropics. In that case, we recommend trying a stim-free nootropic like BrainMD Brain and Memory Power Boost.
Mood enhancer:
- Phenylalanine
- Theanine
These two nootropics are known to lower stress levels and promote positive thinking.
4) Does Focus Pep Work?
We think Focus Pep does work, but only barely.
The driving ingredients of this supplement seem to be caffeine and bitter orange, as these two are often combined in performance boosters.
Not much to say about its mood-enhancing blend, as the dose is likely in the minimum since it’s found near the bottom.
The mental alertness aspect doesn’t seem that promising either, especially with the choline dose at such a small amount.
5) Focus Pep Health Benefits
- The formula is available at a rather affordable price
- Focus Pep seems to be a decent stimulant to say the least
- Focus Pep might have some mood support
6) Focus Pep Side Effects
Normally, the side effects would be associated with caffeine and synephrine, but we’re not sure how much we’re getting for each since the doses are hidden.
The usual symptoms would be palpitations, sweating, and maybe the jitters, but these tend to go away shortly after a hard workout.
So, it’s up to your system whether you can tolerate the stimulation brought about by a combo of synephrine and caffeine.
7) Where to Buy Focus Pep
Focus Pep is available at Walmart and Amazon.
8) Focus Pep Price
- One bottle, 60 pills (60 servings): $29.99
9) How to Take Focus Pep
According to the label:
As a dietary supplement, take one capsule daily. Although some people will need more thna one pill per day, we please ask that you ask your doctor before doing so.
10) Final Thoughts on Focus Pep
Focus Pep blend seems tobe more of a stimulant with some brain alertness benefits on the side. The focus on energy and stimulation simply overpowers their other claims on memory retention, cognition, and focus.
When it comes to mental stimulation, we do think it works, but that’s the most consumers will get from Focus Pep.
While the price does seem attractive, we hesitate to recommend this product. Instead, we ask readers to go for a slightly more premium nootropic brand with a higher quality formula.
