A New York City native, Michelle Giordano attended St. John’s University where she earned an academic merit scholarship throughout the course of her studies. After obtaining her Doctor of Pharmacy degree, she went on to work in the retail pharmacy setting.
During this time, she provided medical guidance and counseling to a diverse set of patients on a variety of prescriptions, herbal supplements, and over-the-counter medicines. Educating the public on health and wellness, and helping individuals navigate the range of products available for different conditions has always been a top priority for her. She is also a certified New York State immunizer.
Dr. Giordano is a member of the editorial team for a national rehabilitation organization, where she writes articles pertaining to medications and substance abuse. She informs the public on specific substances that have an abuse potential and explains treatment options to those struggling with addiction.
In addition to her work in pharmacology, she is an exercise enthusiast and promotes fitness and nutrition to support a healthy lifestyle. For the past seven years, she has participated in CrossFit, metabolic training, and kickboxing. In 2019, she received a certification to teach boxing to young women with a focus on technique and boosting confidence.
