She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Nutrition for Global Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
After having graduated at the top of her faculty in 2018, Kenya gained invaluable clinical and therapeutic nutrition knowledge working in a large hospital where she was responsible for managing patients with a wide variety of ailments ranging from diabetes and chronic kidney disease to severe malnutrition to those needing to be fed via a tube. She also worked as project coordinator for a non-profit organisation specialized in maternal and young child health in impoverished communities in South Africa.
Kenya is very passionate about taking complex evidence-based nutrition concepts and packaging them in a way that is easy to understand. She believes health is not purely the absence of disease, but rather the byproduct of achieving optimal performance in all facets of life.
Kenya lives in Cape Town with her family and two whippets. She spends her time running her dogs on the mountain, reading, cooking her way through recipe books and doing yoga.
