Eugene is a published Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from C.U.N.Y. 

For the past 27 years, he has been a full-time general biology and nutrition college instructor. 

Academically, several of his publications have appeared in peer-reviewed journals. He revises chapters, produces, edits, and proofreads materials for college textbooks.
